Ona Glinton Primary School ceased to exist after a fire destroyed nine class rooms and offices November 21st…The Ministry of Education created a shift system where students of the Ona Glinton would attend classes at the Eliza Simons Primary School….

In November of this year the Tourist Board celebrated Caribbean week under the theme “One Sea, One Voice, One Caribbean”. The first day of school for at least one public school did not begin without controversy and a few angry parents as the problems with overcrowding continues for local public schools.

Several students on government scholarships abroad may not have a place to live…that’s if they do not receive their monthly stipends soon. Several students contacted news 4 saying they have yet to receive their August monies…and have received eviction notices.
