Ona Glinton Primary School ceased to exist after a fire destroyed nine class rooms and offices November 21st…The Ministry of Education created a shift system where students of the Ona Glinton would attend classes at the Eliza Simons Primary School….

In November of this year the Tourist Board celebrated Caribbean week under the theme “One Sea, One Voice, One Caribbean”. Many activities were held; one of the activities that took place was a Caribbean art competition. Students from some of the local high schools entered art pieces based on the theme.
