First official week in office for Premier, the Honorable Dr. Rufus Ewing. Today Premier Dr. Ewing met with the resorts economic council, a group of resort owners who are concerned about the impact of value added tax. Premier Dr. Ewing also said though, that he has until next week to make a decision on the implementation of value added tax.

The Turks and Caicos Community College Providenciales Campus hosted an event last evening called ‘A Touch of Elegance’ where hospitality students displayed Russian Service.

A few years ago, a member of the Providenciales community started a Thanksgiving celebration where all proceeds raised were donated back to a charity on the island.
